Unilever Deploys HR Employee Self-Service Kiosks
DynaTouch is assisting Unilever with the development and deployment of HR employee self-service kiosks. These kiosks integrate with Unilever’s global PeopleSoft system (known as Peoplelink) to provide plant technicians with secure access to the ESS portal to view/print paystubs, update personal data, view/change tax info, update direct deposit info and access Workday. Employees can also view job openings through integration with Unilever’s global job posting and application system, Taleo, as well as obtain the latest information on employee benefits, employee discounts and other helpful information and services. And at some sites, they can even access email.
One of the most popular features is the ability to quickly and easily find and print frequently used forms for HR — direct deposit, personal data changes, document requests, taxes, tuition reimbursement, leave requests, leave reporting, etc.
The project began with pilot deployments in the U.S. and Italy. DynaTouch designed a customized, user-friendly content template as the starting point, then each kiosk was tailored for geographic requirements and delivered in the native language.
Rollout to North American locations is currently underway.
