HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — The Ogden Air Logistics Center recently installed computer kiosks in maintenance organizations to give better computer access to wage grade employees.

More than 50 software licenses were allocated to the center from Air Force Material Command to better assist wage grade maintenance employees with computer access.

A local Hill joint union management committee decided where to install the computer kiosks. The team decided the locations of the kiosks based on the high-traffic wage grade employee work areas.

“Kiosks are one-stop-shops workstations loaded with quick access to the Air Force portal, MyPay, MyBiz and many other sites employees regularly use,” said Ruby Racassi, labor relations officer for Ogden ALC.

“They are designed to be placed in public areas to provide overflow computer access to employees who don’t have daily use of a computer at their worksite.”

The kiosk software is accessed by a single icon called DynaTouch OneStop. This allows employees to access Benefits and Entitlements Services System, seek career opportunities trough the Air Force Civilian website, view Leave and Earning Statements, review Federal Employee Health Benefits and more.

“The Air Logistics Center will continue to work in partnership with American Federation of Government Employees Local 1592 to assess computer access needs of the wage grade workforce and make adjustments as appropriate in consideration of necessity and the availability of hardware and funds,” said Ms. Racassi.
